Group of Prof. Dr. Reinhard F. Werner

The Werner group deals with the fundamentals of quantum theory, especially quantum information theory.
Recent projects investigated measurement uncertainty relations and the topological classification of one-dimensional quantum walks with symmetries.
Currently we are working on a study of various limits of quantum theory in a common framework developed for this purpose: the classical limit, the mean-field limit, and a variety of continuum limits and renormalization procedures.
